I too have many thoughts on Yesteryear—so many things to discuss, but there were also some elements that felt half-baked to me (WHY was Natalie the way she was? It felt like Burke was ostensibly pinning it on faith, but that aspect felt like an afterthought to me in the book and wasn’t relatable. Was she just a narcissist who latched on to faith as a way to legitimize her extremes to herself? That still doesn’t feel all the way believable to me? Anyway, I’ll stop)
